How this search finds your report
Delaware water service does not follow municipal lines. Artesian, Tidewater, and Veolia service areas cross town boundaries, and many manufactured-home communities and subdivisions operate their own public water systems with their own PWS IDs. Knowing your town is not the same as knowing your water system.
This search matches what you type against mapped Delaware places and water systems, then opens the report page that covers them. It runs entirely from data built into this site, so it works even when outside services are down.

What a result does and does not tell you
A result identifies the public water systems mapped to a city, town, or ZIP code. Those service-area boundaries are estimates produced from utility records and modeling, not surveyed service lines, and a single ZIP or town can contain several systems.

- A town is not one water system. If more than one system is mapped to your location, all of them are shown.
- Private wells are not covered by public-water Consumer Confidence Reports. If no mapped system covers your area, see private well guidance and DNREC well records.

Frequently asked questions
Why does my ZIP code return more than one water system?
ZIP code boundaries and water system service areas are unrelated. A single Delaware ZIP can contain a municipal system, an investor-owned utility, several community systems, and private wells. All mapped matches are shown so you can pick the one that fits your location.
Can I search by street address?
Not at street level. If you paste a full address, the search uses the city or ZIP code inside it. Because service areas cross municipal lines, always confirm your exact system on your water bill or in Drinking Water Watch.
Is what I search stored or sent anywhere?
No. The search runs entirely in your browser against data built into this site. Nothing you type leaves the page.
What is a PWS ID?
A Public Water System identification number. It is the reliable key for looking up your system's official record and Consumer Confidence Report in Delaware Drinking Water Watch.
Search results are based on modeled service-area data and may be incomplete, dated, or approximate. Do not interpret a result as an address-level service determination or as a complete inventory of Delaware public water systems.
